Park Chan-dae: "Han Deok-su's Personnel Blocking, Overstepping Authority Far Beyond Limits"

Park Chan-dae, Acting Leader of the Democratic Party of Korea and Floor Leader, criticized on the 16th, saying, "Han Deok-soo, Acting Prime Minister and Acting President, who was under investigation for insurrection, is not only ignoring the constitution but also meticulously engaging in personnel entrenchment."

At the party's Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly that morning, Park said, "Han's abuse of power has gone far beyond the limit."

He questioned, "What is the reason for hastily carrying out personnel appointments at a time when public sentiment is turbulent due to the insurrection and less than 50 days remain until the presidential election? Is it abuse of power because violating the constitution and laws is not enough, or is it a protective and reciprocal personnel appointment to cover up the insurrection charges and secure his own safety?"

According to 'Alio,' the public institution management information disclosure system, there were a total of 101 public institution executive recruitment announcements disclosed from December 4, after the December 3 emergency martial law, until April 11.

Park warned, "Han must clearly respond to the 101 executive recruitment announcements posted on Alio," and added, "He should remember that he is not an elected president but merely an appointed prime minister and acting president."

He also pointed out the government's announcement of an additional supplementary budget worth 12 trillion won. Park emphasized, "Although the supplementary budget has increased by 2 trillion won compared to the existing one, it remains a meager supplementary budget," and urged, "The government must expand the supplementary budget now to achieve practical effects."
