Drama and variety shows produced in Korea are gaining steady popularity on Netflix.
According to Netflix's official site, 'Netflix Top 10,' from the 7th to the 13th of this month, six out of the ten most-watched non-English TV shows were Korean productions. "Bad Connection," starring Shin Min-a and Park Hae-soo, ranked 2nd with 4.8 million views (viewing time divided by running time), following the Spanish drama "The Gardener" with 7.7 million views.
"The Great Deceived," starring IU and Park Bo-gum, which is in its 6th week since release, continued the trend by ranking 3rd with 3.7 million views, and the variety show "The Great Chaos Gianjang," featuring Kian84 and BTS's Jin, made a smooth start at 6th place with 2 million views. Additionally, "Weak Hero Class 1" ranked 7th with 1.8 million views, "Fair Competition" ranked 9th with 1.1 million views, and "Hospital Playlist" ranked 10th with 1.1 million views, showcasing the strong performance of Korean content.
