Kyungdong Navien announced on the 16th that it won four main awards in the product category of the German '2025 Red Dot Design Award.' The awarded products are the Sleep Mat Carbon, Navien Wallpad series, Door Lock series, and the 'Heat Pump Water Heater' scheduled to be released in North America.
The 'Red Dot Design Award' is one of the world's top three design awards organized by the German Design Association, selecting winners by comprehensively evaluating creativity, innovation, and functionality.
The representative award-winning product is the 'Heat Pump Water Heater (NWP500).' It is a water heater that uses heat pump technology to absorb heat from air, ground, and water using electricity and utilizes it for heating and cooling, scheduled for release in North America in the first half of the year. Kyungdong Navien applied a design that maximizes convenience for both installers and consumers in the heat pump water heater. Pipes can be connected on both the top and sides, and the intake and exhaust parts located on the side have been moved to the top of the product, making installation easy even in narrow spaces and various environments.
Another awarded product, the 'Sleep Mat Carbon,' provides an 'optimal sleep environment' through a customized design that considers harmony with surrounding environments such as bedrooms and living rooms. The 'Navien Wallpad series' consists of a total of five smart home devices, including 10-inch and 13-inch wallpads. Kyungdong Navien reflected a design that naturally blends into the living environment without disrupting the flow of space. The 'Navien Door Lock series' is a smart door lock designed to harmonize with modern interiors.
