A Suicide Note Found Inside the Car

A public official in their 30s, affiliated with Buk-gu, Gwangju, was found dead after leaving a suicide note.
According to the Gwangju Bukbu Police Station and Buk-gu Office on the 16th, at around 2:30 p.m. on the 14th, an eighth-grade public official identified as A, who worked for Buk-gu, was found dead inside a car parked on the fifth floor of a public parking lot in Jungheung-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju. The police located A's vehicle through cell phone tracking after the family reported that they could not reach A.
A suicide note was found inside the car, stating, "It is difficult because of the department head, district council members, and civil petitioners. The work is hard."
A was known to have worked at a community administrative welfare center in Buk-gu. It was also confirmed that, in the early morning of the previous day, A drove their car to a public parking lot adjacent to Buk-gu Office. It was reported that A had been suffering from depression.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances, as there were no signs of external intrusion or evidence of foul play. The Buk-gu Office is also working to confirm the facts.
