Suntory Global Spirits Launches Suntory Mini

Suntory Global Spirits is launching a full-scale campaign alongside the release of its new product, 'Suntory Mini.' Suntory is a flagship whiskey brand well known for its highball whiskey. The newly released Suntory Mini features a cute bottle design in a pocket-sized 180ml capacity that catches the eye. Its convenient size makes it easy to carry, allowing you to enjoy your own highball easily whether at a campsite or at home.


Before its release, Suntory Mini appeared in the popular Coupang Play series (Office Workers), drawing viewers' attention. Set in an eccentric marketing company, the cast of held a fun campaign idea meeting filled with ad-libs, unveiling an advertising plan themed 'Suntory loved by the MZ generation.' Various scenes such as staging the 'Suntory Acrostic Poem Challenge' and making and tasting Suntory highballs themselves became a hot topic, raising anticipation for the new Suntory.


Meanwhile, the Suntory campaign video featuring rising star actor Chu Young-woo, who quickly gained recognition for his deep acting skills despite being a newcomer through appearances in Netflix’s and JTBC’s , will also be released. The new Suntory advertising campaign, launching on April 15, adds Chu Young-woo’s witty and heartwarming lines to everyday small episodes anyone can relate to, such as romance and conflicts. Under the theme 'A glass of highball is a story,' this campaign aims to evoke empathy across generations while highlighting the characteristics of Suntory whiskey, the standard for choosing a highball.

'Suntory Mini' maintains the clean and perfectly balanced taste of the original Suntory whiskey while maximizing portability and convenience with its 180ml size. Suntory is especially well known as a highball whiskey that pairs excellently not only with chicken but also with simple snacks. The charm of Suntory Highball, which led the highball craze with its perfect match with carbonated water, will be emphasized along with Chu Young-woo’s personally recommended 'Golden Ratio Highball Recipe.' Additionally, activities introducing 'Highball Myungga 100' establishments, which possess specialized highball machines that provide consistently high-quality highballs paired with excellent food, will continue.


Regarding the launch of Suntory Mini, a representative from Suntory Global Spirits stated, "Suntory whiskey is a well-balanced blend of whiskey distillates produced at Japan’s Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita distilleries, offering a clean and balanced taste. With the release of Suntory Mini and the new campaign, we aim to become the most popular whiskey."


The new product Suntory Mini is available at convenience stores nationwide.
