New Decks and Expanded Flower Beds Planned for the First Half of the Year
Improvements to Accessibility and Visitor Convenience Expected
Sangju City in North Gyeongsang Province announced on the 15th that as spring flowers are in full bloom at the Four Seasons Garden, more and more citizens are visiting the site.
It has established itself as a representative spring flower attraction in the Sangju area of Gyeongbuk.
While tulips have begun to bloom across Sangju, daffodils in particular are at their peak within the Four Seasons Garden, establishing it as a representative spring flower spot in the region.
This is a complex green space designed so that citizens can enjoy the beauty of nature throughout all four seasons with a variety of flowers year-round.
With the increasing usage of the Four Seasons Garden, Sangju City plans to actively promote facility improvements and expand flower beds during the first half of the year.
This year, with a total budget of 100 million won for the first half, the city will strengthen connections with the pedestrian bridge in front of Useok Girls' High School and install four decks to enhance accessibility.
Additionally, more flower beds will be created to make the space richer and more inviting for visitors to stay longer.
Currently, the Four Seasons Garden boasts a stunning landscape with a variety of spring flowers centered around daffodils, quickly gaining popularity on social media and within local communities. On weekends, not only families but also citizens who enjoy walking and photography are flocking to the site.
Kim Gukrae, head of the Forest and Greenery Division, said, "The Four Seasons Garden is developing into an urban garden with year-round scenic beauty, where citizens can feel the changes of the seasons and relax," adding, "We will continue to improve the functionality of the space and make it a beloved landmark through a variety of flowers."
