Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Noh Dongil, hereinafter referred to as Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae) announced on the 15th that Shinan Cheonsa Gim Co., Ltd. has joined the Honor Society of Sharing Companies as the first member in Shinan.
The membership ceremony, held at Shinan County Office, was attended by Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae, Kwon Donghyuk, CEO of Shinan Cheonsa Gim Co., Ltd., Kim Daein, Deputy Governor of Shinan, and Kwak Daeseok, Chairman of the Shinan County Social Welfare Council, along with related staff members.
Kwon Donghyuk, CEO of Shinan Cheonsa Gim Co., Ltd., fully paid a donation of 100 million KRW last February to join the Honor Society, which requires a pledge or donation of 100 million KRW within five years to Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae, becoming the 6th member in Shinan and the 151st in Jeonnam.
By joining the Honor Society of Sharing Companies as the first in Shinan County, Shinan Cheonsa Gim Co., Ltd. plans to further strengthen its cooperation with the local community at the corporate level and continue various social contribution activities. All donated funds will be fully allocated to projects aimed at supporting neighbors in need and welfare facilities, helping to address welfare blind spots.
Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae, said, "It is very meaningful that the first Honor Society of Sharing Company has been established in Shinan County," and added, "I hope that Shinan Cheonsa Gim's membership will spread a great wave of sharing in the local community and further expand the culture of giving."
Kwon Donghyuk, CEO of Shinan Cheonsa Gim Co., Ltd., stated, "Sharing is not just about donating, but about returning what we have received to society as a responsibility," and continued, "We will continue to work with Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae to create a warmer local community."
