In particular, they said, "To emphasize the importance of safety, 'National Safety Day' was established, and in July of last year, the name of the 'Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education 4·16 Democratic Citizenship Education Center' was changed to the 'Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education 4·16 Life Safety Education Center.' We believe this will serve as a greater stepping stone for spreading a culture of safety and respect for life within the province."

Furthermore, they promised, "The People Power Party will provide unwavering support to ensure that society plays a flawless role as a safety net so that such tragedies never recur," and pledged, "We will prioritize 'the lives and safety of the residents' as our foremost banner and do our best in upright legislative activities."
