Gwangju Buk-gu Launches Hometown Love Donation Event
Gift Certificates for Both Donors and Referrers

On the 15th, Buk-gu District in Gwangju announced the launch of a friend referral event to promote the Hometown Love Donation Program. Through this event, if someone donates more than 100,000 KRW upon the recommendation of a Buk-gu Love Supporter, both the referrer and the donor will receive a 5,000 KRW mobile gift certificate.

Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted, and approximately 800 people can benefit from the event. There is no limit to the number of times one can participate. Donors simply need to enter the referrer's name and the last four digits of their mobile phone number in the delivery message when applying for a return gift. The gift certificate will be sent within 30 days after the donation is confirmed.

After the event ends, the top three 'Referral Kings' who make the most recommendations will each receive a return gift worth 50,000 KRW. Anyone can participate by joining the Buk-gu Love Supporters and recommending donors, or by donating more than 100,000 KRW upon a supporter’s recommendation.

Meanwhile, the Buk-gu Love Supporters group was launched last year and, as of April, has surpassed 50,000 members.
