Through this event, Yeosu City promoted its tourism and MICE cruise infrastructure in three regions?Fukuoka, Hiroshima, and Tokyo?and conducted B2B consultations with about 20 companies.

Additionally, the city achieved results by signing MOUs with two major Japanese travel agencies: KONI COMMUNICATIONS and JNK TOUR.

The agreements include: ▲Ongoing promotion of Yeosu’s MICE incentive support and infrastructure to Japanese MICE buyers ▲Implementation of online briefings and invitation fam tours to expand MICE event attraction in Yeosu ▲Support and cooperation for joint MICE programs between the two cities.

In particular, KONI COMMUNICATIONS has confirmed a group tour visit to Yeosu in October this year, and the heads of the Korea Tourism Organization’s regional offices in Japan have also pledged active cooperation.

A city official stated, "We will move quickly to ensure that our participation in this roadshow and the signing of these agreements lead to the attraction of overseas MICE events," and added, "In line with the global Korean Wave trend, we will continue to strategically expand our overseas MICE marketing activities targeting various countries."
