Includes Construction Information and Images of Cheonan's Eight Scenic Views
Cheonan City in South Chungcheong Province announced on the 15th that it will work to improve the cityscape by targeting temporary construction fences at construction sites.
The improvement project will be carried out by piloting super graphics on temporary fences at public construction sites.
Super graphics is a compound word of "super," meaning large, and "graphic," referring to large images or illustrations that decorate building walls and other surfaces.
These super graphics were not only planned but also designed directly by officials from the Urban Design Team, and feature construction information and images of Cheonan's Eight Scenic Views.
The city plans to pilot the super graphics at the construction site of the Sinbang-Tongjeong District Volunteer Center and then expand to various construction sites based on citizens' feedback and overall response.
Yeom Hyesuk, head of the Architecture Division, said, "Through this pilot operation, we will assess the feasibility of on-site application and plan to expand after refining the design. We will strive to enhance the dignity of the city through public design."
