Olive Young app users reach 8.8 million, up 37% year-on-year
Daiso Mall app users hit 4.05 million, up 89% year-on-year

The number of app users for CJ Olive Young and Asung Daiso reached an all-time high last month. This proves their strength not only in offline stores but also online.


On the 15th, WiseApp·Retail, an app and retail analysis service, surveyed Korean smartphone users and found that last month, Olive Young's app users numbered 8.8 million, a 37% increase compared to the same month last year (6.44 million). This is a record high.

The number of Daiso Mall app users also increased by 89% from 2.14 million last year to 4.05 million. This is also an all-time high.


Recently, Olive Young and Daiso have been providing store pickup and fast delivery services based on high store accessibility. These factors seem to contribute to strengthening their position in the online market.


In fact, Olive Young and Daiso achieved strong performance last year. Daiso's sales last year reached 3.9689 trillion won, a 14.7% increase from the previous year, approaching 4 trillion won, and operating profit increased by 41.8% to 371.1 billion won. Olive Young's sales last year also rose 24.1% year-on-year to 4.79 trillion won, with operating profit increasing 30.4% to 607.7 billion won.
