Group BTS member Jin (real name Kim Seok-jin) will release a new album next month, Big Hit Music announced on the 15th.
Jin will release his second mini-album, "Echo," on May 16 at 1 PM (KST). This marks his first new release in about six months since his first solo album "Happy" in November last year. The agency stated, "Jin decided on a quick comeback because he wants to see his fans more often."
The new album, featuring seven tracks, captures various moments of life spreading out like different echoes. It expresses stories and emotions that anyone might experience in life, conveyed from Jin's perspective in a straightforward yet witty manner.
On the morning of the same day, a promotional video for Jin's new album was screened at the K-pop Square Media in COEX, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. In the video, Jin held up a placard with the release date "May 16" inside a crane game machine filled with dolls. The video will be screened every 30 minutes between 6 AM and 11:30 PM until the 19th.
