Opened in the Heart of Ulaanbaatar
Mongolia's Middle Class on the Rise... Demand for Korean Fashion Brands Increasing
"This Year, Focusing on Expanding Both Online and Offline Presence"
Athleisure brand XEXYMIX announced on the 14th that it has opened its second store in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
The second store is located in Emart Chinggis Branch (Mongolia's first branch), the first large-scale supermarket in Mongolia, situated in the city center. Emart Chinggis Branch is a complex cultural space frequently visited by locals, with large apartment complexes and schools nearby. It is also a bustling area year-round with tourists, as it is close to Sukhbaatar Square, museums, and department stores.
XEXYMIX Mongolia's second store is on the first floor, where foot traffic from shoppers is the highest. It offers a variety of athleisure products popular in Korea, including the Black Label Signature series.
In Mongolia, the middle and high-income classes are expanding, leading to increased acceptance of global brands. Especially among the younger generation, the popularity of Korean pop culture and the Korean Wave continues, resulting in high demand for Korean fashion and beauty brands.
Previously, XEXYMIX officially entered the Mongolian market in 2021 by becoming the first Korean fashion brand to open a store in the Zaisan Star Department Store in Ulaanbaatar. Since then, XEXYMIX has conducted pop-ups, sponsored events, and collaborated with local influencer models, focusing on tourist areas and office districts with strong purchasing power.
Going forward, XEXYMIX plans to focus on key urban commercial areas to expand local customer touchpoints and strengthen brand competitiveness. A XEXYMIX representative stated, "We are currently preparing to renew our online official mall, and this year we plan to focus on expanding our presence both online and offline." They added, "We will continue to grow as a leading brand in the athleisure trend in Mongolia."
