Lotte Hotel to Open 'L7 Hotel by Lotte' in Cheongnyangni Next Month

L7 Cheongnyangni by Lotte to Open as First Domestically Chained Hotel Operated Under Management Contract
Located in Lotte Castle SKY-L65, Featuring Retro Design and Modern Facilities

Lotte Hotel & Resort announced on the 15th that it will open 'L7 Cheongnyangni by Lotte' next month.

L7 Cheongnyangni by Lotte is the seventh domestic and international hotel of the lifestyle hotel brand 'L7 Hotel by Lotte.' In line with Lotte Hotel & Resort's asset light strategy, it will be the first domestically chained hotel to be operated under a management contract.

Management contract operation differs from direct management, where the property is purchased and operated directly; instead, only the operating rights are acquired from the hotel ownership. This method is possible only when the brand value and competitiveness are high. Currently, it is mainly adopted by leading global hotel companies worldwide.

Cheongnyangni is the best transportation hub in the northeastern part of Seoul, boasting excellent accessibility with the convergence of transportation networks such as the Seoul Metropolitan Subway, Bundang Line, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and KTX. It is a distinctive area where a stylish retro vibe coexists with modern infrastructure such as department stores, large marts, and cinemas, attracting attention among young people.

L7 Cheongnyangni by Lotte is located in the 'Lotte Castle SKY-L65' landmark tower, a 1-minute walk from Cheongnyangni Station. The 7th and 8th floors feature a lobby and various auxiliary facilities reflecting the atmosphere of Cheongnyangni Station, while guest rooms are located from the 18th to the 25th floors.

The hotel consists of a total of 260 rooms blending retro sensibility with modern design, along with auxiliary facilities such as a fitness center, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and restaurants. The indoor swimming pool on the 7th floor offers an outdoor pool atmosphere when the large windows are opened.

Guests can also enjoy the buffet restaurant 'FLOATING,' the 'FLOATING LOUNGE & BAR' with panoramic views of downtown Seoul and signature cocktails, and the nature-friendly garden 'Bird Garden' located in the mid-level outdoor space.
