Identifying and Addressing Harmful and Hazardous Factors
Sancheong County in Gyeongnam is accelerating efforts to create a safe working environment.
According to Sancheong County on the 15th, a 'risk assessment' has been launched for 127 workplaces in the region.
This assessment, aimed at preventing serious industrial accidents, will be conducted over three months starting from the 7th. It will identify potential harmful and hazardous factors in workplaces in advance and establish measures for improvement and reduction.
In particular, safety measures for facilities will be strengthened as a key part of preventing serious industrial accidents and creating a safe working environment.
This year, the focus will be on water purification plants, green space management teams, and similar sites, with systematic inspections carried out jointly by safety and health professionals and safety and health managers.
Lee Seunghwa, the governor of Sancheong County, said, "We will strengthen our safety system through this risk assessment," adding, "We will continue our best efforts to create workplaces free from industrial accidents through ongoing monitoring and improvement activities."
