at the Jeonbuk 119 Safety Experience Center
Damyang County Dream Start conducted various disaster and emergency treatment experiences for 20 school-age children at the Jeonbuk 119 Safety Experience Center in Imsil County, Jeonbuk, on the 12th. Provided by Damyang County
Dream Start in Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 14th that it visited the Jeonbuk 119 Safety Experience Center in Imsil-gun, Jeollabuk-do on the 12th with 20 school-aged children, where they participated in various disaster and first aid experience activities.
This program was organized to help children develop the ability to respond safely in disaster situations and to provide them with an opportunity to acquire basic first aid knowledge.
The children learned safe evacuation methods in environments similar to real-life situations through disaster and crisis escape experiences, and understood the importance of CPR and first aid through professional hands-on activities. One student who participated in the program said, "It was a great opportunity to learn how to act in actual disaster situations."
An official from the county emphasized, "This experience is an important educational program that helps children gain confidence in responding to crisis situations," and added, "We will continue to do our best to support the healthy growth of local children."
