Wanju County to Hold 'Blood Donation Campaign' at County Office Parking Lot on the 16th

Open to All Public Officials and Residents

Wanju County in North Jeolla Province will hold the 'Life Sharing Blood Donation Campaign' on the 16th.


According to the county on the 14th, this blood donation campaign is being conducted jointly with the Jeonbuk Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross and has been organized to address the blood supply shortage and promote a culture of voluntary blood donation.

The blood donation campaign will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the civil service parking lot in front of Wanju County Office, and is open to not only public officials but also all local residents.


Participants in the blood donation can check their personal health through blood tests such as blood type, hepatitis, and liver function tests, and will also receive various benefits including four hours of volunteer service credit, a blood donation certificate, and commemorative gifts.


The county regularly holds blood donation campaigns every quarter to promote the spread of a blood donation culture and to ensure a stable blood supply, encouraging continuous interest and participation from residents.


Lee Jaeyeon, the head of the Public Health Center, said, "We hope for warm interest in the blood donation campaign that saves the lives of families and neighbors."
