NH Nonghyup Bank Newly Designated as Identity Verification Agency by Korea Communications Commission

NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 14th that it has been newly designated as an identity verification agency by the Korea Communications Commission. An identity verification agency is an institution that verifies an individual's identity using alternative methods such as certificates, mobile phones, and credit cards instead of resident registration numbers, and is designated through a strict review by the Korea Communications Commission.

Following its designation as an identity verification agency, Nonghyup Bank plans to enable the use of identity verification services such as membership registration in various financial, public, and private partnership online services through the 'NH Certificate.' The bank plans to enhance usability by building a cloud system that allows the 'NH Certificate' to be used across multiple applications and various environments.

Kang Tae-young, President of Nonghyup Bank, said, "We will strive to expand the usage of the NH Certificate so that customers can conveniently use it," adding, "We will further improve customer convenience and security and provide differentiated digital financial services."
