The College of Aviation at Silla University (President: Heo Namsik) announced on the 14th that it has signed a business agreement with OJNT Co., Ltd. (Director: Shin Junho) to support students' overseas advancement and employment in the aviation sector.
On the 8th, Silla University held a signing ceremony for the business agreement at the Future Aviation Convergence Hall, with Dean Lee Eungseok of the College of Aviation, Director Shin Junho of OJNT Co., Ltd., and key officials and professors from both institutions in attendance, to promote the development of the aviation industry.
On this day, the two institutions agreed to mutually cooperate for the following: nurturing outstanding aviation talent, providing education in the aviation field, supporting students’ domestic and overseas employment, and supporting facilities, equipment, and materials. They also agreed to foster customized talent for overseas companies and connect students to local employment opportunities.
A university official stated that this agreement is the first step in laying the foundation to expand overseas advancement and employment support projects in connection with all colleges and majors at Silla University in the future.
Silla University and OJNT Co., Ltd. plan to jointly participate in various national projects to nurture global talent.
Lee Eungseok, Dean of the College of Aviation at Silla University, said, "With a 70-year tradition, Silla University operates an excellent educational system and programs with global competitiveness, providing students with broader opportunities for overseas advancement and employment," adding, "We will do our best to nurture global talent who will excel on the world stage."
Silla University has recently proven its global competitiveness through its outstanding and differentiated educational system, as evidenced by three students from the Department of Aviation Maintenance being employed as maintenance engineers at Singapore's aviation maintenance company 'SIAEC.'
