The room renewal was carried out with the concept of 'British Modern Classic,' adding a modern sensibility to the British royal theme of Kensington Hotel Seorak. British Modern Classic is a style that combines a dignified British atmosphere with modern sensibilities using patterned wallpaper, wooden furniture, and antique accessories.

This concept was applied to 32 'Executive' rooms where guests can enjoy the view of Gwongeumseong Fortress, a symbol of Seoraksan Mountain. The Executive Family Twin (36㎡, approximately 11 pyeong) features a calm and warm atmosphere with hunter green as the main color. The Executive Twin (30㎡, approximately 9 pyeong) offers a classic and cozy ambiance with floral patterned wallpaper and burgundy as the main color.

Based on the concept of a museum hotel and exhibitions symbolizing the UK, Kensington Hotel Seorak won the Asia 'Luxury Heritage Hotel' category at the 2022 World Luxury Hotel Awards.

Notably, at the hotel’s main entrance stands the 'Routemaster,' a double-decker bus that ran through London in the 1950s, and in the lobby, the coronation crown of King Edward VII of the UK and a nearly 2-meter-tall British royal guard doll are displayed.

At the restaurant 'The Queen,' guests can enjoy steak courses and wine alongside exhibits that showcase the history of the British royal family, including royal greeting cards sent by the British royal family and a handwritten letter from King George VI.

At the bistro & bar 'Abbey Road,' which exhibits memorabilia from the legendary British band 'The Beatles,' visitors can admire over 40 items, including guitars signed by all members and the original suit worn by John Lennon.

Additionally, on each floor of the hotel, collections that reveal the footprints of famous domestic and international celebrities are displayed. Visitors can appreciate donated items from various fields such as sports stars, singers, and actors.

To commemorate the opening of the renewed rooms, Kensington Hotel Seorak is offering the 'Hello, New Seorak' package until August 31. The main benefits include ▲1 night stay ▲free upgrade to a Seoraksan view room ▲breakfast buffet for 2 ▲1 free breakfast buffet coupon ▲weekday (Sunday to Thursday) late checkout service until 12 PM (noon). Prices start from 159,900 KRW.

A representative of Kensington Hotel Seorak stated, "We will continue to introduce differentiated products that highlight the unique charm of Kensington Hotel Seorak, such as its geographical advantages and collections."
