Competition Rate Reaches 11 to 1
Asan Nanum Foundation announced on the 14th that it has selected 20 startups to participate in the 'Chung Ju-yung Startup Competition - Global Track (Asan Voyager)'.
'Asan Voyager' is an accelerating program of the global track of the Chung Ju-yung Startup Competition. It discovers early-stage software-based startups preparing to enter the U.S. market and provides multifaceted support, from local living expenses to regular community programs.

This year, a total of 223 companies applied, recording a competition rate of 11 to 1. Among them, 20 companies were selected from various industries such as healthcare, security, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Participating teams will receive ▲up to 20 million KRW for local living expenses ▲up to 5 million KRW in overseas expansion benefits ▲qualification for startup support as members of 'MaruSF,' Asan Nanum Foundation's Silicon Valley base ▲access to shared workspaces and meeting rooms at Maru360, along with customized growth support programs for global expansion.
The participating startups will undergo a final evaluation in the second half of the year and have the opportunity to present and pitch their U.S. market entry achievements at the Chung Chang-kyung Demo Day held this year. The final teams will be awarded a total prize of 170 million KRW, including a grand prize of 50 million KRW.
An official from Asan Nanum Foundation stated, "We will actively support the Asan Voyager participating teams to verify their growth potential locally in the U.S. and to gain competitiveness on the global stage."
