Amicogen, a bio-materials and healthcare specialized company (CEO Pyo Jjeo), joins a meaningful journey to nurture the next generation of bio talents.
Amicogen announced that it will actively participate in the "Bio Healthcare Onboarding Program," hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the Sustainable Management Foundation and Sartorius Korea Biotech Co., Ltd., to foster young talents who will lead the future bio industry.
The "Bio Healthcare Onboarding Program" is a job competency enhancement program specialized for youth in the pharmaceutical and bio industries. It targets science and engineering university students (current and graduates) and high school students majoring in bio, operating from May to November with a total of 432 hours. The program consists of theory and practice, team projects, mentoring, and job fairs, focusing on cultivating field-customized talents.
Through this agreement, Amicogen’s employees will directly participate in the program as instructors, mentors, and judges, providing practical help to improve young people’s understanding of on-site work and career planning. Additionally, Amicogen plans to participate in the job fair scheduled for November to offer recruitment opportunities linked to program graduates.
An Amicogen representative stated, "This program, which lowers the entry barriers for youth into the bio industry and provides practical employment opportunities, is an important catalyst for the sustainable growth of our society. We will continue to take the lead in various collaborations to revitalize the bio industry ecosystem and realize social value."
Meanwhile, Amicogen is accelerating the expansion of the global bio market, focusing on sustainable social contribution activities as well as contract manufacturing and development of high value-added bio raw materials and media.
