Synergy Expected with Galleria Luxury Hall and Five Guys
Own Production Center Begins Operation in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province

Hanwha Galleria subsidiary Veruscoop Creamery announced on the 14th that it will officially launch a new ice cream brand, Benson, in May.

Benson is one of the common names used in the United States and carries the nuance of being 'honest and trustworthy.' It reflects the intention to become a familiar brand that anyone can enjoy without burden, while also providing customers with trust.

The slogan 'Freeze the Moment' expresses the hope that the time spent with Benson will remain a 'precious moment never to be forgotten.'

All products use domestic raw milk and fresh cream. By increasing the fat content and lowering the air content (overrun), it offers a denser texture and deeper flavor. It differentiates itself by using premium ingredients such as domestic acacia honey and Tanzanian single-origin chocolate, which is rarely found in Korea.

The first store will open in Apgujeong Rodeo, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where gourmet food lovers with discerning tastes gather. It is an area densely populated with famous restaurants and select shops, with active inflow of young people in their 20s and 30s as well as foreign tourists. It is near Seoul Galleria Luxury Hall and Five Guys Apgujeong (7th branch), so synergy among affiliates is also expected.

Before the official brand launch, the company has also completed preparations for its own production center. Veruscoop Creamery has established a factory equipped with ice cream production facilities in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, and started operations this month.

A Veruscoop Creamery official said, "We put the most effort into differentiating the taste while maximizing the advantages of each raw material," adding, "We will present ice cream that hides specialness within a familiar taste that anyone can enjoy without burden."
