Gyeonggi Office of Education Press Corps 'Miraenarae' Launches... Inauguration Ceremony on the 12th

Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education's education press corps 'Miraenarae' held its launching ceremony on the 12th and officially began its activities.


Miraenarae carries the meaning of students and faculty members, the main agents of education, spreading their wings toward a bright future and communicating with the world.


The Office of Education previously selected a total of 250 members for the education press corps this year, including 150 student reporters and 100 faculty correspondents.


Under the slogan "Informing Gyeonggi Education through the Eyes of Students and the Perspectives of Faculty," 219 members of the education press corps and 188 parents attended the launching ceremony.

The education press corps will play a role in promoting and communicating school news and other information to ensure the on-site establishment of Gyeonggi education policies until December. Their specific activities include ▲ Gyeonggi education policies ▲ school news ▲ local field reports ▲ educational columns.


The Office of Education publishes articles written by the education press corps on the official 'Miraenarae' blog (https://blog.naver.com/goe_press). They are also shared on the Office's official YouTube channel 'GO3' and Instagram.


To support the activities of the education press corps, the Office of Education provides monthly professional training for reporters, cooperation with related departments and institutions for field coverage, sharing of outstanding articles on social networking services (SNS), awards for excellent reporters, production of the top 10 video news stories by the education press corps at the end of the year, and publication of a collection of outstanding articles.


Superintendent Lim Tae-hee, in a video congratulatory message, said, "The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education's education press corps is both 'policy consumers' and 'messengers of communication and empathy,'" and urged them to "carry out their activities with pride and responsibility."
