Customized Export Voucher Support for SMEs Facing
U.S. Reciprocal Tariffs

The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 13th that it is recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the 'Export Baro Program.'

The 'Export Baro Program' means providing prompt support within one month from application to selection. It is an export voucher project designed to support SMEs facing tariff damages (or concerns) due to changes in the global trade environment, such as reciprocal tariffs imposed by the United States.

The Small and Medium Business Corporation focuses on a 'tariff response specialized service' utilizing domestic and international tariff response experts such as customs, legal, and accounting firms, as well as overseas local subsidiaries familiar with local conditions.

In particular, the Corporation plans to identify and resolve difficulties faced by supported companies through one-on-one coaching by industry and trade experts with a deep understanding of exports and extensive overseas expansion experience, and to connect them with suitable export voucher services.

The support target is SMEs that have directly or indirectly exported to the United States within the last three years. Using the tariff response specialized service menu within the export voucher, companies can select and receive desired services such as ▲tariff damage consulting ▲tariff dispute resolution support ▲tariff-related document agency services ▲alternative supply chain acquisition, among others.

Additionally, companies can freely use the existing 14 export voucher menus and over 8,000 services, including participation in exhibitions, international transportation, and certification acquisition support.

Kang Seok-jin, Director of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, said, "To minimize the damage to domestic export SMEs caused by the United States' reciprocal tariff measures, we will actively cooperate with related ministries such as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, domestic and international specialized institutions, and spare no support to help our companies overcome this crisis."
