Fine Dust Levels Range from 'Bad' to 'Moderate'

On Sunday the 13th, mainly in the central region, it will be mostly cloudy with snow and rain falling in various parts of the country. Morning temperatures are expected to drop to around 2 degrees Celsius in some areas, signaling chilly weather.

Rain or snow will fall until dawn along the East Coast of Gangwon, inland Chungnam, and the Gyeongsang region, and until daytime in Chungbuk. In the Seoul metropolitan area and inland/mountainous areas of Gangwon, snow and rain may fall until night.

Expected precipitation from the 12th to 13th is 10-40mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, Daejeon, and Chungnam; 5-30mm in inland and mountainous Gangwon; and 10-30mm in Chungbuk. Expected snowfall amounts are 3-8cm in the Gangwon mountains, 1-5cm in inland Gangwon, and around 1cm in northwestern and eastern Gyeonggi and the Chungcheong region.

Morning low temperatures are forecast to be between 0 and 8 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs ranging from 8 to 16 degrees. Fine dust levels will be 'bad' in Chungcheong, Honam, Yeongnam, and Jeju areas, while other regions will see 'moderate' levels.

Sea waves will be 1.5?3.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, and 1.0?3.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters.

In the offshore seas (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 2.0?5.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.5?5.0 meters in the West Sea, and 2.0?4.0 meters in the South Sea.
