On the 12th, the day after former President Yoon Seok-yeol returned to his residence in Seocho-dong, supporters held rallies near Gwanghwamun in Seoul and around the residence amid heavy rain accompanied by strong winds nationwide.

The Korea Straightening Movement Headquarters (Daegukbon), led by Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon, held the "People's Right to Resist Gwanghwamun National Rally" around Gwanghwamun in Jongno-gu at 1 p.m. on this weekend day. As of 2 p.m., the police's unofficial estimate counted about 10,000 attendees.

Participants gathered in the area from Dongwha Duty Free Shop to Daehanmun, holding umbrellas or wearing raincoats in the rainy weather, chanting slogans such as "Yoon Again" and "Fraudulent Impeachment."

The emcee asserted, "President Yoon Seok-yeol must return to his rightful place and reveal the truth behind the illegal fraudulent impeachment."

Jo Bae-sook, a member of the People Power Party, also took the stage, saying, "I know how much effort you all made to protect this country last bitter winter at Gwanghwamun, Hannam-dong, and in front of the Constitutional Court," adding, "The impeachment ruling is not the end. The presidential election remains, and we must unite as one."

Support groups backing former President Yoon, such as "Jayudae-hak" (Freedom University), held the "Only Yoon Seok-yeol Again Rally" at Exit 8 of Gyodae Station on Subway Lines 2 and 3, near the Seocho-dong residence, at 2 p.m.

As of 3 p.m., the police's unofficial estimate counted 2,000 participants waving placards with the Taegeukgi and the slogan "Yoon Again." They shouted slogans such as "Illegal Impeachment," "Impeachment Null and Void," and "President Yoon Seok-yeol," voicing their support for the former president.
