A series of scholarship donations for nurturing talent and advancing education is continuing in Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do.


According to the Damyang Scholarship Foundation on the 12th, on the 10th, the Damyang-gun Gungdo Association's Chongmujeong (Head Jeon Juseok) donated 1 million won, and the Damyang-gun Forestry Cooperative (President Song Jinhyeon) donated 10 million won in scholarships, respectively.


The Damyang-gun Gungdo Association's Chongmujeong, which consistently ranks high in various archery competitions held nationwide every year, has been steadily donating scholarships since 2021. The Damyang-gun Forestry Cooperative is also greatly contributing to increasing the income and quality of life of forestry workers through the cultivation of forest resources and management technology guidance.


Since last year, the Damyang Scholarship Foundation has been dedicated to fostering local talent by delivering a total of 82 million won in scholarships through continuous donations.


Governor Jeong Cheolwon (Chairman of the Damyang Scholarship Foundation) said, "I sincerely thank you for your warm interest in nurturing talented individuals," and added, "The donated scholarships will be meaningfully used for the development of talent in Damyang-gun."
