Gumi Urban Corporation in North Gyeongsang Province is running a free picnic set rental program for citizens at Silla Buddhism Chocheonji to welcome the spring season.
On the 11th, Gumi Urban Corporation announced that it will operate the 'Spring Again, Silla Buddhism Chocheonji Picnic Set Rental Program' from April 1 to May 30.
First introduced last fall, this program received a great response from visitors and will be operated again this spring.
The program runs from Tuesday to Sunday each week, excluding Mondays when the facility is closed. Free rental is available for up to five groups per day on a first-come, first-served basis through advance reservation, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The picnic set includes a parasol, camping chairs, a waterproof mat, and a rattan basket. Visitors can freely enjoy a spring outing within the Silla Buddhism Chocheonji grounds and the Bodhi Leaf Maze Garden area. Participation is completed by submitting a photo after use.
Lee Jaewoong, President of Gumi Urban Corporation, said, "We prepared this program to give visitors to Silla Buddhism Chocheonji an unforgettable spring memory," and added, "We will continue to offer various cultural experiences to further enhance citizen satisfaction."
