Gumi City Recruiting Unemployed Trainees... Supporting Employment Through Professional Skills Training

Four Courses Offered
Full Tuition Covered, Allowance Provided

Gumi City in North Gyeongsang Province is recruiting participants for the '2025 Regional Unemployed Vocational Training' program to support the self-reliance of local unemployed residents.

This training consists of four practical courses: ▲Beauty (Nail) Technician ▲Computerized Accounting Clerk ▲Baking and Pastry Technician ▲Electrician Certification. A total of 40 participants will be selected, and the application period is from the 14th to the 25th.


Eligible applicants include unemployed residents registered in Gumi City, recipients of basic living security, and out-of-school youth. All training fees are fully covered, and those who maintain an attendance rate of 80% or higher will receive a monthly training allowance of 50,000 KRW.


The city plans to enhance trainees' on-site adaptability through hands-on education, and will also provide post-training support in connection with the Employment Support Center after the program ends.


Applications can be submitted in person at the local administrative welfare center in one's residential area after a preliminary consultation at the relevant training institution. A Gumi City official stated, "We expect that this vocational training will help unemployed individuals find new opportunities and contribute to revitalizing local employment."
