'Dodam' is a team formed by the collaboration of the youth welfare club 'Cuore' and the mental health social welfare club 'PSW.' Under the slogan "Build a Wall Against Gambling," they have been raising awareness about the seriousness of gambling issues among young people and carrying out various prevention activities.
Starting with the inaugural ceremony on the 4th, they plan to run a variety of online and offline programs through October, including a survey on youth gambling awareness, prevention education, on-campus and nationwide campaigns, the creation of prevention columns, a gambling prevention contest, and UCC production.
Professor Na Jihoon from the Department of Social Welfare stated, "Since prevention is the most important, our students will take the lead in helping members of the university community break free from the temptation of illegal gambling and enjoy a healthy campus life."
'Dodam' was recognized for its outstanding performance last year and received the grand prize in the '2024 Youth Gambling Prevention Activity Group Project' organized by the Korea Center on Gambling Problems and the Integrated Supervisory Commission for Speculative Industries.
