The Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (Director Namil Lee) held a ceremony on the 11th at the Busan Patriots and Veterans Hall to commemorate the 106th anniversary of the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea.

Under the theme "Meeting the Republic of Korea," the ceremony was attended by about 160 people, including the families of independence patriots, the Superintendent of Education of Busan, the Director of the Busan City Administration and Autonomy Bureau, local veterans organization leaders, homeroom teachers and students from Dongsin Elementary School. The event proceeded in the following order: ▲National Ceremony ▲Reading of the Provisional Charter of the Republic of Korea ▲Commemorative Address ▲Congratulatory Remarks ▲Commemorative Performance ▲Three Cheers for Independence.
In particular, during the ceremony, the Three Cheers for Independence was conducted together with the descendants of independence patriots and students from Dongsin Elementary School, making it an event that fostered the spirit of patriotism across all generations, including the future generation.
Namil Lee, Director of the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, quoted the words of Baekbeom Kim Gu, saying, "True freedom can only be enjoyed in a completely independent country. We must not forget that the freedom and happiness we enjoy today are built upon the sacrifices and dedication of our forebears. Especially in this year, marking the 80th anniversary of Liberation, we must carry on their legacy and vigorously move forward as a truly free Republic of Korea united through patriotism."
