...Departures in June and September
Sunmoon University announced on the 11th that it has been selected for the seventh consecutive year as the host university for the "Paran Sadari Project," jointly run by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Student Aid Foundation.
The Paran Sadari Project is a government-supported program that helps university students participate in overseas training to enhance their career competencies and global awareness.
For this project, the university plans to operate two types of programs: Type 1 consists of a four-week short-term overseas training, and Type 2 is a sixteen-week overseas field internship. All expenses, including training fees, airfare, and accommodation, will be fully covered for the students.
Students selected for the Type 1 program will depart in June to study at institutions such as the University of Nevada in the United States, PIM University in Thailand, and Duy Tan University in Vietnam, focusing on language and cultural experiences.
Students selected for the Type 2 internship will gain practical field experience at companies affiliated with Ming Chuan University in Taiwan, PIM University in Thailand, and Duy Tan University in Vietnam starting this September.
President Moon Sungje said, "Through the Paran Sadari Project, I hope students will expand their potential by experiencing various cultures and industrial fields," adding, "We will actively support students so they can build confidence and establish concrete career visions."
