Sunchang County has officially launched the "Electric Motorcycle Private Supply Project" starting from the 9th. Provided by Sunchang County
Through this project, the county plans to supply a total of 39 electric two-wheelers. Purchase subsidies are provided by vehicle type: 1.4 million KRW for light, 2.3 million KRW for small, 2.7 million KRW for medium, and 3 million KRW for large models.
To apply, the buyer of the electric two-wheeler signs a purchase contract with the manufacturer or dealer and fills out the application form. The manufacturer or dealer then submits the application on behalf of the buyer through the 'Zero Emission Vehicle Integrated Portal.'
In particular, if an internal combustion engine two-wheeler is scrapped and replaced with an electric one, an additional 300,000 KRW in national funding is provided. Small business owners, vulnerable groups (such as people with disabilities and basic livelihood security recipients), and farmers receive an extra 20% of the national subsidy, while those using the vehicle for delivery purposes receive an additional 10%. Detailed information can be found in the announcement posted on the 'Notices and Announcements' section of the county office website.
