Soonchunhyang University Cheonan Hospital announced on the 11th that it had received a donation of 10 million KRW from Cheonan Kim I Tae Obstetrics and Gynecology for the construction of the new hospital.
Kim I Tae Obstetrics and Gynecology, which opened in 2021, is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a specialized clinic system. The clinic donates all profits earned from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day to support neighbors in need.
Kim I Tae, the director of the clinic, said, "I am happy and proud to be able to contribute, even in a small way, to the construction of the new hospital that will bring hope to local patients."
Lee Moonsoo, the hospital director, expressed his gratitude, saying, "We will repay the trust of our partner hospitals and local residents with the successful opening of the new hospital."
Meanwhile, the new hospital will open on July 7 on a 45,300 square meter site right next to the current hospital, with five basement floors, fifteen above-ground floors, and a capacity of 1,000 beds.
