With the implementation of China's national automotive cybersecurity standard (GB 44495-2024) set to begin in January 2026, FESCARO is accelerating its efforts to penetrate the Chinese market. On the 14th, FESCARO announced that it participated as a speaker at the 'AutoSec 2025' automotive cybersecurity conference held in Shanghai, China, for two days starting from the 1st, presenting strategies to comply with GB 44495-2024.

As the enforcement of GB 44495-2024 approaches in nine months, the local industry is on high alert. The 'AutoSec' conference, the largest automotive cybersecurity specialized event in China, attracted global and Chinese original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), demonstrating strong interest. Participants included Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, BYD, Geely, Zeekr, and Xpeng, who reportedly explored collaborative measures to address the regulation.

Kim Inho, General Manager leading FESCARO's China branch, took the stage again this year following last year to present 'Automotive Cybersecurity Strategies Specialized for GB Compliance,' gaining attention by sharing practical know-how based on successful experiences with European regulations. Notably, the hierarchical defense strategy utilizing a virtualized Hardware Security Module (vHSM) to enhance security and a Security Gateway Controller (SGW) was praised as an approach that efficiently reduces resource consumption.

Additionally, FESCARO introduced the 'CSMS Portal,' which enables continuous enhancement of cybersecurity. This automated solution simplifies the complex tasks of complying with cybersecurity regulations, attracting high interest from global and local OEMs and confirming potential demand.

General Manager Kim stated, "While the initial setup of an automotive cybersecurity management system is important, continuous operational management is key," adding, "The CSMS Portal, scheduled for release in June this year, is expected to be a game changer in the industry by dramatically improving the efficiency of cybersecurity operations management."
