Shinhan Bank Expands Weekend Operations of Foreign Customer Consultation Center

Shinhan Bank announced on the 11th that starting from the 12th, it will provide English, Vietnamese, and Russian consultation services at its foreign language customer service center on weekends to enhance convenience for foreign customers.

In January of this year, Shinhan Bank opened the 'Gimhae Foreigners-Centered Branch' and has been offering digital lounge video consultations from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays and in-branch face-to-face consultation services from 9 AM to 6 PM on Sundays for foreign customers.

This weekend service expansion selected three languages considering the most frequent countries of visitors to the foreigners-centered branch. The operating hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM. The consultations cover foreign customer support and interpretation services, foreign exchange consultations such as currency exchange and remittance, guidance on using major apps including Internet Banking, Shinhan SOL Bank, and Shinhan SOL Global, as well as information about branches for foreign customers.

A Shinhan Bank official stated, "We will continue to expand products and services for foreign customers and provide financial solutions."

Meanwhile, Shinhan Bank’s foreign language customer service center offers consultation services in 10 languages, the largest number in the banking sector. The available languages are English·Japanese·Chinese·Vietnamese·Mongolian·Thai·Russian·Cambodian·Filipino·and Indonesian.
