Gurye Office of Education Successfully Concludes Annual Track and Field Competition by Grade

The Gurye Office of Education recently announced on the 11th that the '2025 Superintendent's Grade-Level Track and Field Competition' was successfully held at the Gurye Public Stadium.

This event saw the participation of 220 elementary and middle school students from the Gurye area, along with school officials, coaches, referees, parents, medical staff, and local residents. The competition featured a variety of track, field, and throwing events, including sprints (80m, 100m), middle-distance races (400m, 800m), long jump, shot put, and ball throw. Students showcased their passion and skills, fully enjoying the excitement of athletics.

Superintendent Shin Jaeseong stated, "I hope this track and field competition will serve as a foundation for students' healthy growth and as an opportunity for them to become promising athletes representing Gurye. Rather than focusing on competition, I wish for students to enjoy sports and strengthen their physical fitness. We will continue to provide tailored support for students' dreams and futures."

The Gurye Office of Education plans to continue its efforts to promote school sports and to establish a foundation for the early discovery and systematic development of outstanding athletes.
