Daedeok District in Daejeon Launches Themed Tour Program 'Daedeok Gorae Tour'

Daejeon Daedeok-gu announced that starting from the 13th, it will operate the Daedeok City Tour 'Daedeok Gorae (GoRae) Trip,' where visitors can fully enjoy beautiful nature and historical culture.

The 'Daedeok Gorae (GoRae) Trip' embodies the charm of Daedeok-gu, which is eco-friendly, generous, and abundant, with the meaning 'Once you go (Go), you'll want to come (Rae) again.'

This is a themed tour program that explores major tourist attractions and historical sites in Daedeok-gu, offering participants the opportunity to experience the city's ecological and cultural assets.

The tour consists of two courses: the Ecological Healing Course and the Historical Healing Course, allowing participants to experience Daedeok-gu's diverse tourism resources at a glance.

The first course, the 'Ecological Healing Course,' passes through Daecheongho, which boasts breathtaking natural scenery, the barefoot-friendly Gyejoksan Hwangtotgil, and the vibrant Sintanjin Oil Market, where visitors can feel the lively atmosphere of the region.

The second course, the 'Historical Healing Course,' visits Dongchundang, Sodaeheon and Hoyeonjae Historic Houses, which preserve the tradition of Confucian scholar culture, as well as the well-known filming location Ojeong-dong Missionary Village, allowing visitors to discover Daedeok-gu's rich historical and cultural assets.

Each program operates with a dedicated bus, a guided tour with a professional commentator, snacks on board, and a local cuisine lunch.

Detailed travel schedules and reservations are available on the organizer's website, and the participation fee is 25,000 KRW per person.

A Daedeok-gu official said, "The Daedeok Gorae Trip will serve as an opportunity to widely promote Daedeok-gu's tourist attractions and resources."
