Discovering Startup Ideas Based on Public Data

The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 11th that it will hold the "4th Convergence Data Utilization Startup Competition."

Held until June 27, this competition is organized by the "Public Data and Data-Based Administration Activation Council" located in Jinju, Gyeongnam, and aims to provide opportunities for new business creation through startup ideas utilizing public data, contributing to private startups and economic revitalization.

Jungjingong

The "Public Data and Data-Based Administration Activation Council" is a council for promoting the use of public data and data-based administration and implementing the Digital Platform Government. It consists of a total of eight organizations, including the Small and Medium Business Corporation, the Korea Land and Housing Corporation, the Korea Defense Technology Quality Institute, Korea South-East Power, the Korea Elevator Safety Agency, the Korea Copyright Commission, the Korea Land and Housing Corporation, and Gyeongsang National University.

The competition categories include ▲ discovery and utilization planning of convergence data ▲ startup idea planning using public data ▲ discovery and planning of analysis tasks, totaling three categories.

Anyone interested in data utilization can participate in the competition, and applications can be submitted individually or in teams of up to five members. Outstanding ideas selected through evaluation will be awarded prizes along with institutional honors.
