Gyeonggi-do to Operate Sewol Ferry 11th Anniversary Memorial Period... Memorial Flag Raising, etc.

Gyeonggi Province will operate a memorial period from April 11 to 17 to mark the 11th anniversary of the Sewol Ferry disaster.

Gyeonggi Province will raise the Sewol Ferry memorial flag at the Suwon Gwanggyo Provincial Government Complex and the Uijeongbu Northern Government Complex during this period so that all public officials and residents can remember and share the pain of the victims of the Sewol Ferry disaster. The memorial flag features the phrase "One small movement, a great miracle" along with an image of a yellow ribbon.

Additionally, stand-type banners with the phrase "Gyeonggi Province will remember and stand in solidarity so that the truth and pain of that day do not sink" will be installed at the entrances and lobbies of the government buildings.
