The health center's dedicated oral health team will visit schools directly to systematically educate students on the importance of oral health, daily habits for preventing cavities, and proper tooth brushing techniques. The program also focuses on practical oral health management by distributing oral hygiene products so that students can practice self-care. In addition, fluoride varnish will be applied to prevent tooth decay and encourage the formation of continuous care habits.
This project contributes to the prevention of cavities among adolescents and the establishment of proper oral care habits, playing an important role in improving oral health standards. Thanks to ongoing education and management, the initiative has received positive feedback from students and parents. This year, with one more school participating compared to last year, the effectiveness and necessity of the program are receiving even more attention. For more information, contact the Oral Health Office of the Health Promotion Team at the Namwon City Public Health Center.
An official from the health center stated, "Oral care habits formed during adolescence have a significant impact on maintaining healthy teeth throughout life," adding, "We will continue to strive for the improvement of students' oral health through various preventive programs in the future."
