Visits to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Harvard University, Google, and More
The Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity announced on the 10th that it is recruiting participants for the field learning program "2025 Youth Science Expedition" to strengthen the scientific and technological inquiry capabilities of adolescents until the 9th of next month.
This year, a total of about 120 middle and high school students will participate and visit a total of about 30 domestic and international companies and institutions.

The domestic Science Expedition will target about 100 selected middle school students and will explore more than 20 major institutions and companies, including Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and Korea Institute of Science and Technology, over 3 nights and 4 days from July 22 to 25.
About 20 high school students selected for the Global Science Expedition will depart for the eastern United States from August 1 to 8 for 6 nights and 8 days, visiting 10 institutions including the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Harvard University, Google, IBM, and other global companies and institutions.
Now in its fourth year, the Youth Science Expedition is one of the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity's representative youth science programs, which has recorded high satisfaction with over 340 youths visiting more than 50 research institutes, universities, and companies domestically and internationally up to last year.
Jung Woo-sung, Chairman of the Science Creativity Foundation, said, "Through the Youth Science Expedition, we hope future science talents will directly feel the importance of science and technology and strengthen their inquiry capabilities," adding, "We look forward to many applications from youths with curiosity and passion for science."
Students wishing to participate in the 2025 Youth Science Expedition can submit their application forms through the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity's online application system by 4 p.m. on the 9th of next month.
