Kwon Young-se, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, criticized Woo Won-shik, Speaker of the National Assembly, on the 10th for withdrawing his proposal for simultaneous voting on the presidential election and constitutional amendment, saying, "At the mere word of former Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung, Democratic Party lawmakers and 'Gaeddal' mobilized en masse and mercilessly trampled even the Speaker of the National Assembly, who ranks second in the national hierarchy."

Chairman Kwon said at the Emergency Response Committee meeting held at the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, that morning, "When Speaker Woo proposed holding the presidential election and constitutional referendum simultaneously, there was fierce and organized opposition from the pro-Lee Jae-myung faction within the Democratic Party," adding this comment.

Speaker Woo stated on Facebook the day before, "Stable discussions on constitutional amendment are not easy. Under the current circumstances, simultaneous voting on the constitutional amendment with the presidential election has become practically difficult," and announced that the constitutional amendment discussions would be postponed until after the presidential election.

Chairman Kwon criticized, saying, "Constitutional amendment is a national demand of the times," and "Former leader Lee opposes it fearing it might hinder his presidential ambitions, which proves how anti-national and anachronistic a figure he truly is."

Regarding the current situation where the Democratic Party is launching an offensive against Prime Minister and Acting President Han Duck-soo's nomination of two constitutional court justices for the president's quota, Kwon claimed, "The Democratic Party is unleashing a barrage of lawsuits and re-impeachment offensives. They are faithfully following former leader Lee's orders to take all legal measures."

He continued, "Because of this, among the people, there is even a sarcastic saying, 'The supreme dignity of North Korea is Kim Jong-un, and the supreme dignity of South Korea is Lee Jae-myung,'" adding, "Many citizens are seriously worried about how recklessly former leader Lee would wield power if he becomes president, considering the current situation."

Floor Leader Kwon Seong-dong pointed out toward former leader Lee, who resigned from the party leadership position the day before, saying, "During the 'Lee Jae-myung era' of three years, the Democratic Party degenerated into a one-man rule party under Lee Jae-myung, and the National Assembly became a tool for Lee's personal shield and power consolidation."

He added, "If Lee Jae-myung, who has corrupted both the Democratic Party and the National Assembly into tools for his personal gain and power pursuit, seizes not only legislative power but also national power, what will happen to the Republic of Korea?" and emphasized, "On June 3rd, the People Power Party will end the chaotic and destructive Lee Jae-myung era together with the great people."

Furthermore, Floor Leader Kwon also strongly criticized Speaker Woo's withdrawal of constitutional amendment discussions and the Democratic Party's pressure on Acting President Han. He said, "The Lee Jae-myung faction is already acting like an occupying force," adding, "At the mere word of Lee Jae-myung, the Speaker of the National Assembly is bent, unconstitutional bad laws are passed at lightning speed in the Legislation and Judiciary Committee, and even the detention of Acting President Han is being forced on investigative agencies."
