Under the agreement, Busan University of Foreign Studies will cultivate trade professionals and company-customized talent as required by the Free Economic Zone Authority, while the Authority will actively promote the talent development program to resident companies and support employment linkage activities. In addition, both institutions plan to continuously expand cooperation and exchanges in other areas of mutual interest, such as investment attraction.

Busan University of Foreign Studies has been selected as the operating institution for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' '2025 K-Export Warrior Academy.' Through this, the university expects to achieve mutual growth by matching export companies in the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone with international students, facilitating employment connections.

The 'K-Export Warrior Academy' operated by Busan University of Foreign Studies is a company-customized employment support program targeting international students who are about to graduate from a domestic four-year university or who have graduated within the past year. The academy provides hybrid education on trade theory and practice, and has established employment counseling centers for international students in Seoul and Busan to offer AI-based job matching and follow-up management services.

Commissioner Park Sungho stated, "By linking international students with foreign language and global competencies to export companies in the zone, we expect to help resolve the shortage of skilled personnel for local export companies and address youth employment issues. We will continue to collaborate with related organizations to secure talent and create a sustainable employment ecosystem, thereby strengthening the foundation for nurturing global talent in the zone."
