Connecting Technology, Policy, and Market
Korea's Only EV Industry Platform
To Be Held in June at the Largest Scale Ever
The Korea Battery Industry Association announced on the 9th that it has signed a joint hosting agreement (MOU) for 'EV Trend Korea 2025' with COEX and the Korea Automobile Environmental Association at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This agreement is significant as it represents an unprecedented collaboration among industry, exhibition sectors, and public institutions responsible for policy.
This agreement holds strategic importance beyond merely operating an exhibition; it aims to build an integrated platform encompassing the entire ecosystem of the electric vehicle industry. Facing the challenge of overcoming the electric vehicle chasm (Chasm: temporary demand stagnation), the three organizations have joined forces to establish a practical foundation for widespread adoption through organic linkage among policy, industry, and market.
The Korea Battery Industry Association, centered on the electric vehicle battery industry, possesses an extensive network of key companies across the entire electric vehicle value chain, from complete vehicles to parts and materials sectors. Through this, the event provides a practical foundation necessary to organically reflect the overall industry trends and voices from the field.
COEX has experience operating over 200 industrial exhibitions annually and possesses comprehensive global marketing capabilities. Based on these strengths, EV Trend Korea can be realized as a practical exchange platform where industrial content and business opportunities are effectively connected.
The Korea Automobile Environmental Association is an institution that actually designs and implements electric vehicle policies, serving as a trustworthy bridge connecting systems and markets. Through this event, it plans to add public interest and professionalism throughout the planning process to ensure that policy directions and institutional changes can interact with the industry field in real time.
EV Trend Korea 2025, held this year, will be the largest ever with 100 companies and 500 booths. The event will also feature 'EV 360˚ Conference', export consultation meetings, and other industry benefit-focused content. Participating companies are expected to experience an exhibition that offers practical opportunities directly connected to markets and systems beyond simple technology promotion.
Park Taesung, Executive Vice President of the Korea Battery Industry Association, said, "EV Trend Korea will provide an opportunity to overview technological innovation trends related to electric vehicle performance, charging speed, and safety, while also serving as a platform to strengthen the electric vehicle industry ecosystem."
