An unusual part-time job that pays 1 million KRW per game for pitching or batting and singing the national anthem at professional baseball games is attracting attention.
On the 9th, JobKorea and Albamon announced that they are recruiting part-time workers for pitching, batting, and singing the national anthem at the Hanwha Eagles vs. LG Twins game to be held on the 30th at Hanwha Life Ballpark. Applicants for singing the national anthem can apply through both platforms, while pitchers are recruited through JobKorea and batters through Albamon.
Incentives are also provided based on performance. If the pitcher achieves a pitching speed of 100 km/h, an additional 100,000 KRW is paid, and if they reach 120 km/h, an additional 200,000 KRW is given. Batters receive a 100,000 KRW bonus if they strike a specific pose after batting.
Up to three teams will be selected for the national anthem singing part-time job. Anyone who can sing the national anthem, regardless of nationality or age, can apply. Applicants must upload a video of their singing to the team representative’s (or their own) social media (SNS) or YouTube and attach the link when submitting the application.
Meanwhile, JobKorea and Albamon also recruited pitchers and batters for part-time jobs last year. The event announcement received great responses, with 250,000 views and 22,559 applicants.
