Jinan County in North Jeolla Province is recruiting participants for a 2-night, 3-day Environmental Health Family Camp at Jinan Plateau Healing Forest until the 23rd to promote public health.
According to the county on the 9th, the camp will be held from the 16th to the 18th of next month, and is open to about 20 families with children attending elementary schools in North Jeolla Province.

Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is no participation fee. For registration, inquiries can be made by calling the main number of the Healing Forest.
This camp offers a variety of programs that allow families to think about environmental health together.
Detailed programs include education on environmental hazards in daily life, stargazing without light pollution, a carbon-neutral ecotourism program, and a natural healing program for health promotion.
In a survey conducted after the first family camp last month, all participants reported increased interest in environmental health and environmental hazards compared to before the camp, and overall satisfaction with the camp was 100%, with all participants responding that they were very satisfied.
County Governor Jeon Chunseong said, "We will further strengthen our efforts to promote public health through environmental health education and by establishing our role as a hub center in North Jeolla Province."
Meanwhile, Jinan Plateau Healing Forest offers a variety of educational and experiential programs, including eco-friendly residential experiences and training programs for organizations and groups.
