Daejeon Cultural Foundation to Provide 300,000 Won Comprehensive Health Checkup Support for Artists

Health Check-ups Available at 7 Partner Centers from April to November

Daejeon Cultural Foundation announced that it will operate the '2025 Artist Medical Check-up Support Program' to promote the health and creative activities of local artists.

Eligible applicants are: ▲Artists residing in Daejeon who have completed the Artist Activity Certification ▲Those eligible for the National Health Insurance Service health check-up (those born in odd-numbered years) ▲Households with a combined income at or below 160% of the median income as of 2025. Applicants who meet all these criteria will receive support for a comprehensive health check-up program within the limit of 300,000 KRW.

There are seven cooperating medical centers, including Konyang University Hospital, Eulji University Hospital, and the Korea Association of Health Promotion Daejeon Branch. After selection, recipients can choose their preferred center and program.

Applications can be submitted via email or in person by the 25th of each month from April to November. Selected applicants will be notified individually. For smooth operation, applications in November will be accepted until the 14th, and the program may close early if the budget is exhausted.
